How to Expense AhaSlides

It’s usually companies, not individuals, who pay for AhaSlides at work. Once you’ve got a sales quote for the number of licences you need, follow this quick, 3-step guide to get your boss to expense it.

Bring it up

Casually let your boss know that you’re looking at getting AhaSlides for the company.

Or just copy this message and paste it to your boss

Hey boss. It turns out a few of the team are using an interactive presentation tool called AhaSlides, so I’m thinking an Enterprise plan would work out better for us. Can I email you the details?

Hey boss,

So as I mentioned before, quite a few of our team are using their own accounts on AhaSlides. They’re using it to make their own interactive presentations, but I think it would be better if we sprung for a team Enterprise plan. The main reasons are…

  1. It’s safer to have all assets and info used by the company in one ISO-certified, GDPR-compliant server.

  2. It’s cheaper and more streamlined than having each member expense the company separately.

  3. Every member with a licence will be able to create and share interactive presentations amongst the whole team.

I’ve been chatting to their sales guys and the quote they’ve given me for [NUMBER OF LICENCES] licences is [QUOTE HERE].

Every member with a licence will be able to create and share interactive presentations amongst the whole team. It’s great for stuff like ice breakers, team building, idea generation and generally having more fun, productive meetings.

Can we expense this?

Hey boss,

Just checking again to make sure you didn’t miss my last email about expensing AhaSlides.

I think the interactivity would really help to improve company culture and help the team to share their ideas more effectively.

Feel free to ask me any questions about this. I can also give you a quick demo if you’d like.

Boss' Questions...

It’s totally normal for your boss to have questions about AhaSlides. Here’s a few of the usual questions and a suggested answer for each.

Basically, AhaSlides helps people connect more through interactive presentations. It lets all our staff have an input to the presentation through polls, word clouds, brainstorms and quizzes.

Each team can use to get their members to be more productive in meetings. We can use it to break the ice at the start, build teams with games and have everyone, including the quiet and the remote guys, to contribute their thoughts and stick in their votes.

Sure – I think it’s any team’s goal to be able to work better together and to give every member an equal voice. Personally, I would also love the chance to connect more with my team and I think that sense of connection will push us closer towards our overall goals.

I can run one interactive presentation using AhaSlides and I think the whole company will be hooked. It doesn’t take long to learn and I can run a quick ‘how to use AhaSlides’ session if need be.

Pssst – we have a presentation just for that. Check it out!

Need help persuading?

Convincing your boss and colleagues to try AhaSlides is not always easy. You might find that your boss and colleagues are quite resistant to the idea of trying anything new.

We’ve made a template to help you out. Just run this for 5 minutes at the start or end of a meeting and watch your crew’s faces light up when they interact for the first time!
